Sarah Howard
Sarah is a landscape photographer based near the Cotswolds. A finalist in the Travel Photographer of the Year in 2008 and 2009, her work has been widely exhibited – most recently at the O3 gallery in Oxford and at Westonbirt Arboretum. Her first book, ‘A year in the life of Westonbirt’ was published in September 2009 by Frances Lincoln and is now in its second edition. In April 2010 Sarah launched 'A Cotswold Scene' - a photography competition open to all ages to celebrate the Cotswolds region and promote local talent.

Sarah established Image Seen in order to pass on to other photographers her passion and enthusiasm for landscape photography and to help them realise their creative potential. Photographers from all over the country now join Sarah on location on her one to one or group workshops learning how to improve their photography and create inspiring images for themselves.

Joe Bowes
Joe Bowes is a landscape photographer based on the northern edge of the Cotswolds. His photography goes back many years, but as with a great number of photographers the digital age after the new millennium brought a new enthusiasm to his work and since then he has invested his time heavily into the genre.

Although digital imaging really spurred his work on and he still uses it extensively, he has reverted back to medium format film photography for his black and white work which he exhibits widely. His recent solo exhibition at the O3 Gallery in Oxford was very well received as were exhibits at Cottons Atrium in London and the Michael Heseltine gallery in Middleton Cheney, Banbury. He is now putting together a new body of work ready for an exhibition this summer at the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick in the Lake District. Joe’s enthusiasm for and knowledge of landscape photography guides the way in which he communicates the learning process of this art. Combining this with an easy going personality and good sense of humour guarantees an enjoyable but productive training session.

Rob Wolstenholme
I've been a nature reserve warden and occasional photographer for 25 years. While at work I'm privileged to see some of the best wild places in the UK and I try to get there at the most special times to capture their essence on camera. I love searching for a beautiful landscape and enjoy sharing my love of nature with other people. My focus is landscape photography but I will also venture into other areas as they present themselves to me.

I first entered a competition in the mid Eighties - the then BBC Wildlife magazine Wildlife Photographer of the Year. From this I received a commendation and my image toured with the exhibition. I continued to take pictures but re-started more seriously in 2007 since when I have entered a number of local competitions in Gloucestershire (one of which I won) and the Cotswold Scene competition (category winner). I sell my own prints and also supply stock photos to Alamy. I have also had my work appear on the cover of Cotswold Life magazine in 2010.

Rob McDonagh

Rob McDonagh’s initial interest in photography began at age 17 when he was an apprentice engineer. He mainly focused on sports and portrait images. As with many, the cost and practicalities of using 35mm film dampened his initial enthusiasm and photography took a back seat for many years.

With the convenience and immediate feedback of the latest affordable digital SLR cameras Rob’s interest has been reawakened. He now focuses mainly on capturing natural and urban landscapes. He is also intrigued by the echoes of man’s past activity in historic and abandoned sites.
